Graduate and Professional School (GPS) Transition Program

  • Incoming students will receive an email with more information at their BMC email address

 

You will receive instructions to access your Bryn Mawr email via your personal email. Follow the instructions to set up your Bryn Mawr email. For help setting up your account, please contact the Help Desk at help@ngskmc-eis.net.

 

Students will be given instructions for course registration via email over the summer. Registration information is also shared in Moodle in the GSSWSR Administrative Information For Students shell. You can access Moodle after you have set up your Bryn Mawr email. Course registration will take place in Bionic once you have received your registration email.

Graduate and Professional School (GPS) Transition Program is an optional preparatory program on transitioning to graduate school that runs in the summer before the fall semester begins. More information about GPS and how to sign up will be made available via email.

Prep 4 Tech and Prep for Research are both optional short preparatory programs.

  • Prep 4 Tech, available asynchronously to enrolled students via Moodle, offers an overview of technology used and what technical support is available at the GSSWSR.
  • Prep for Research, offered in-person/synchronously during orientation week, is for students entering their first Research course. Sign-ups will be made available by email for students interested in participating.

 

You will first meet your advisor during Orientation, after which you will be able to schedule individual meetings with them. 

For students entering field: 

Please note that students entering field will receive an email from the Field Education Office shortly after becoming an enrolled student. This email may arrive before your Bryn Mawr email is set up, in which case it will be sent to your personal email address. The steps outlined in the email should be completed as soon as possible.
